From February 2023, the Turku Chinese Church will have two international gatherings a month. The languages of gathering are Chinese, English and Finnish.<\/p>\n
One time of gathering is for making friends, communicating, and practicing Finnish. On the one hand, it is to enrich the lives of immigrants in Turku. On the other hand, everyone can exchange information, help each other, encourage each other, and solve real-life problems. For example: how to find a job in Finland, the Finnish unemployment policy, Chinese children going to school, etc. Learning Finnish is very important. A Finnish-speaking environment is required for learning Finnish. In our gatherings, we always have Finnish friends. Communicating more with them can help us overcome language barriers and improve our ability to express ourselves, so that we can integrate into Finnish society as soon as possible and contribute to our career.<\/p>\n
The other time of gathering is for focusing on studying the Bible, testifying, sharing, and praying. Everyone is a high priest and has the opportunity to freely share God’s word and explain the Bible.\u00a0 May everyone open their hearts to testify to God’s grace and open their mouths to pray to Him.<\/p>\n
May God give us wisdom in our organization. May the kingdom of God prosper, and may his glory come.<\/p>\n
